The Problem & The Fix

Your school won't solve this. Neither will YouTube.

❌ The Problem

84% of high schoolers use AI but have zero proof of skill

  • ⚠️ Using ChatGPT to copy homework isn't a portfolio
  • ⚠️ Summer bootcamps teach theory, not real tools
  • ⚠️ Instructors who "studied AI" ≠ practitioners who ship it
  • ⚠️ One-off workshops leave no lasting evidence of skill
✅ The Solution

Weekly live coaching + portfolio-worthy projects from practitioners who ship AI daily

  • Cohorts of 8–12 students, live every week
  • Coaches build production AI systems for their day job
  • Each session produces a shareable, reviewable artifact
  • Portfolio grows month over month — not just during summer

AI fluency through building, not lectures.

Live Cohort Sessions

Small groups of 8–12 students, weekly. Real conversations, live feedback from practitioners who ship AI every day.

Weekly AI Challenges

Analyze real data, prototype an app, write a business plan — using AI tools. Tangible output every session.

Portfolio Building

Projects accumulate into a shareable portfolio. Coded prototypes, research papers, data analyses — concrete proof for college applications.

Taught by Builders

Our coaches build production AI systems as their day job — LLM integrations, fine-tuning, full-stack AI apps. They teach what they ship.

Questions parents actually ask.

PromptPath is designed for high schoolers, typically ages 14–18. We group students by grade and experience level so the cohort stays at the right pace. We do occasionally accept advanced 8th graders — reach out if your student is younger.
We use the same tools practitioners use in production: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Midjourney, Perplexity, and Python-based AI libraries depending on the project track. No proprietary platforms — everything they learn has direct real-world applicability.
All coaches are background-checked adults who work in AI professionally — engineers, product managers, and researchers at Bay Area tech companies. Sessions are conducted on Zoom with recordings available to parents. We maintain a strict code of conduct and small cohort sizes so every student is visible and supported.
Colleges want evidence of genuine interest and real skills — not just test scores. A portfolio of AI projects (coded prototypes, data analyses, research tools) is a compelling differentiator. In 2026, AI literacy is increasingly a signal of intellectual curiosity and technical readiness, especially for STEM and CS programs.
No. We start with prompt engineering and AI-assisted workflows — no code required. As students progress, some tracks introduce Python and basic scripting, but coding is never a prerequisite for joining. Our coaches meet students where they are.
Summer programs give your teen 2 intense weeks and then it's over. AI skills require repetition and compounding — you don't get good at anything in 2 weeks. PromptPath runs year-round, which means your teen's portfolio grows month over month, their skills compound, and they're ready for college applications with genuine proof of ability — not just a certificate.
Yes. Your teen's first session is free, no credit card required. We want you to see the cohort dynamic and meet the coach before you spend anything. If it's not the right fit, no hard feelings.
